Evolution’s new Funky Time live game show is launched, and disco lovers all around the world are beyond excited! The vibes of ‘70 mixed with fantastic bonuses and multipliers won’t leave anyone disappointed.
Let’s get the party started:
After the epic launch of Crazy Time, the company decided to launch one more live game show, and this is the biggest one since the beloved Crazy Time.
So, once again, welcome to the disco club! The ambience resembles that of ‘70, and for the complete experience, Evolution took care of everything, including funky beats, a dance floor to show your best moves, and multipliers, which will improve the whole mood in each phase of the game.
Let’s spin the wheel! DigiWheel money wheel awaits in the main game and grants the player random multipliers in every round. It can help in increasing the prize on numbers, letters, or even bonus games.
The wheel is huge, with 64 different segments, matched to show the words PLAY, FUNK, and TIME. There are also number 1s and segments of the bonus game to help players achieve the win.
Instant wins are available to the players if the wheel stops on number 1 or a letter. If the wheel stops on any bonus segment, one of the four bonus games is triggered. In the bonus round, the player can try their luck in a Bar, Stayin’ Alive, Disco, or VIP Disco game. Entering the VIP Disco guarantees to get the multipliers.
If the Disco or VIP Disco is triggered, the fantastic Mr. Funky character awaits the player on the dance floor. The mission is to collect as many multipliers as possible, all the while trying to remain on the dance floor.
The huge team behind the creation of the hit game:
Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution, said: “At Evolution, we invented the live Game Show gaming category with Dream Catcher, and since then, we’ve never looked back. We have created most of the top 10 new games of the last five years, many of which are our live game shows, and we’re confident that Funky Time will achieve similar success. When I first saw the DigiWheel, a big vertical revolving wheel with an electronic LED center, I knew there was a great game show to be built around it. Then the team and I started brainstorming what that game could be, and we knew we were onto something very special with Funky Time.”
The great team of about 100 people was on an important mission to launch Funky Time. Haushalter stated that this is the most expensive and complex game the company ever worked on, but it’s definitely the most fun as well.
At some points, this game is similar to the company’s hit release Crazy Time – but at the same time, these two games are completely different.
Haushalter finished: “I hope players enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
